A message to all members of The NewAge Foundation
Water is an important part of a diet. Read on to know why - Drink fluids to keep your blood pressure up – dehydration can lead to low blood pressure and a loss of energy. It improves your digestive health. Water helps dissolve soluble fibre in your digestive system allowing substances to pass through more easily.
- Drinking water will flatten your stomach.
- Bloating can be caused by water retention which, ironically, is caused by not drinking enough water. So drink up to two litres of water a day to achieve a flatter stomach.
- Staying hydrated reduces hunger. We often mistake thirst for hunger and end up reaching for sugary food. If you feel hungry and it isn't lunchtime yet, try a glass of water first to see whether you're hungry or just thirsty.
- Drinking enough water keeps joints and muscles working properly, plus it boosts your concentration and energy levels.
